The underpinning project of MISTERGENTLEMAN is to explore the limits of the basic. Following a much-hyped presentation of VERSUS TOKYO, their first collection at the 2014 Tokyo Fashion Week, the young brand created in 2012 by Takeshi Osumi and Yuichi Yoshi has just opened a store in Shanghai selling ready to wear, shoes and accessories.

Inspired by Virgil Abloh (Founder of Off White, recently named as director of the menswear line at Louis Vuitton) and Shayne Oliver (Hood by Air) MISTERGENTLEMAN suffuses suave British style with a touch of hip hop with out of the ordinary detailing and silhouettes. Enter the street-style Dandy quietly redefining the norm. According to Coco Chanel ‘fashion is made to become unfashionable’ but this designer duo have managed to overcome any such risk.
