Superstars takes excellent care of its clients. Every shampoo treatment comes with a massage session lasting fifteen or thirty minutes. The Paris salon, in shades of white and with minimalist decor, is lit by neon lights (the staff claim these are necessary for them to be able to do a good job).
Specialists in layering
The speciality is the New York/Japanese-style layered cut. This technique, one of the hardest to master in hairdressing, involves cutting some sections shorter than others in a graduated way to add volume and movement to the hair. The prices range from €80-100 depending on what you’re after, but the aforementioned massage is included. On her YouTube page, Tamio, the manager, posts short videos that allow viewers to watch the progress of a haircut from start to finish.
