As nomads roam from place to place, they appropriate new styles and customs. THE HEARTBREAKERS too accrues a miscellany of new merchandise styles all the time. Seasonal items that match the ever-expanding brand image fill the showroom of their first flagship store. Two items that stand out are the Redwing Postman and the Rolex Explorer. Art, music, and books line the rear wall of the store. One can find 1970s rock alongside 1990s hiphop, and each item represents the influence studying abroad had on the designer, Masao Watanabe. Casual and semi casual, as well as streetwear mingle together forming the BEDWIN disruptive style and culture.
