A Select Menu in Kanda Offered and a Beer Brewed with Pride

The emerging craft beer scene has a new kid on the block. SCHMATZ brings a select food menu and a top-tier domestically brewed German draft beer to Kanda. With a mission to become the “beer for the working people of Kanda”, the restaurant recognized the etymology of the word “craft” from the German “kraft”, which means skill or force, then adapted it for their beer Kanda Craft. An easy-to-drink and refreshing beer, Kanda Craft boasts a citrusy nose and finish. It also goes great with their thick, spicy tartar sauce that garnishes their German Tartar Chicken Nuggets. Another favorite is the Cotton Candy Pizza, which brings the festival to the table and has patrons licking their lips and ordering more beer. A great spot for a casual drink.
