Waterside Living

The Industrial Revolution left its mark on London with a network of canals that have recently gained popularity among people who live on boats. As real estate prices skyrocket, it gives many a chance to live in the city at a fraction of the cost. The docks are often free and waterside dwellers can come and go as they please. Two trendy areas, the Regent Canal and the Hoxton Coast, are both full most of the time. Different management associations have different rules and time limits, but most keep the limit at about a week.
