Behind a green façade lies one of London’s best-kept secrets: Jin Kichi, a Japanese restaurant that specialises in authentic cuisine.
The establishment is inspired by izakaya, little Japanese restaurants where customers come to have a drink with friends or colleagues after work and share a multitude of small dishes. Considered one of the best spots in the area, Jin Kichi has a small functional kitchen with a robata grill for chicken skewers or even beef tongue. Classic dishes, like tempura and sushi, are delivered with precision. This is how Jin Kichi has managed to capture perfectly the Japanese spirit of an izakaya in England.
