Sumibiyakiniku Nakahara, the Real Taste of Wagyu
View this post on Instagram
Sumibiyakiniku Nakahara isn’t any ordinary yakiniku barbecue restaurant. The tables are impeccable and the air is completely devoid of smoke. But the thing that really distinguishes it is the quality of the meat, and the meticulous attention to detail executed by owner Kentaro Nakahara.
On the contrary to the majority of chefs, Nakahara procures his Wagyu directly from wholesalers in order to verify the provenance, the lineage and the flavour of his meat. Raw beef, Wagyu sushi, grilled meat, breaded cutlets and Wagyu katsu sando sandwiches, this chef’s possibilities seem limitless.
